Where are you located and what are your opening hours?

We are located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Viewings are by appointment only.
How do I know which furniture items are still available from the website?

Any item that is not described or listed as "Sold" or "On hold" (pending payment) on the product title is still available in-store. It will have "Available" on the title.
Why is are the furniture pieces not available for direct purchasing online?

Vintage items have some form of age-appropriate wear & tear including fully restored pieces. We recommend dropping by our showroom if you are a local buyer to have a look and feel of the vintage pieces that interest you. If you are not a local buyer - please reach out for more information about the piece.
Are all your furniture pieces vintage and how old are they?

Yes. All our vintage mid-century furniture pieces at Abys Antiques are guaranteed 100% vintage and authentic. We specialize in original vintage Mid-Century Modern design, in particular made in Canada classics from the 1950s - 1970s.
Are all of the vintage furniture pieces restored?

Many of our vintage pieces have been restored, which is why most of the furniture you find at Abys Antiques is in excellent condition. Vintage pieces that are in good to excellent original condition are available "as is", and we also offer furniture restoration upon request for these pieces.
Can I restore my furniture with Abys Antiques?

Currently we offer refinishing services to locals in the Vancouver area. Refinishing service is limited to Mid-Century Modern furniture only.
Can I customize furniture with Abys Antiques?

No. We do not customize or copy any original design.
Do you buy or take in used furniture?

We only take in original vintage Mid-century furniture pieces on a case by case basis.
